The chalet is located at Atlantic Bay Holiday Park which is set amidst 27 acres of peaceful parkland. It is a friendly family-run site. There is an outdoor play area. Atlantic Bay Holiday Park is 1 mile from the village of St Merryn which has 2 restaurants, 2 pubs, a supermarket and an award winning fish and chip shop within 2 miles of beautiful sandy beaches and 3 miles from Padstow, an historic working fishing port on the River Camel estuary. The Cornish Arms is St Merryn is now owned by Rick Stein.
St. Merryn village has a tourism motto "Seven bays for seven days", displayed on the road signs as you enter the village. This refers to the bays & beaches in the vicinity which are (north-east to south-west): Trevone Bay, Harlyn Bay, Mother Ivy's Bay, Booby's Bay and the adjoining Constantine Bay, Treyarnon Bay and Porthcothan Bay.

It sleeps 4/5 and has a lounge with settee, chairs, TV, with DVD player,and radio. The kitchen is fully equipped including built in cooker and hob, washing machine, microwave, kettle, refrigerator, toaster, table and chairs, high chair and ample china and cutlery. Has hairdryer.
One bedroom has a double bed and the other a bunk futon bed which serves as 2 single beds or a double with a single above. There is also a fold up single bed. Both bedrooms have wardrobes, chest of drawers and electric heaters. There is also a cot,
The bathroom has a full sized bath with shower, washbasin, WC and hot and cold water. Ample free parking is available close by. Comfortable lounge. Floors laminated throughout kitchen/diner and lounge. Both bedrooms are carpeted.

There are many restaurants in Padstow including those owned by Rick Stein. Atlantic Bays Holiday Park is ideally located for exploring North Cornwall and is only half an hour by car from the Eden Project.

Cornwall is most popular for its beauty and offers a wide variety of activities for everyone. The climate is warm and pleasant and the people are always welcoming. Spend time at Llanhydrock House or the Eden Project. Explore some of the National Trusts beautiful houses, or Prideaux Place in Padstow for example. Cycle the Camel Trail, go horse riding, or go coarse or sea fishing.
Cornwall is also hugely popular for its surfing and you can enjoy the UK's best beaches. Visit the home of King Arther at Tintagel, or Boscastle and Port Issac for some of the most beautiful attractions England has to offer.
There are fantastic beaches and 'seven bays for seven days' within the area where you can enjoy the best of swimming, surfing and water sports. There are also the coastal path to walk and horse riding nearby. For the sporty there are golf courses and tennis courts on hand.
In the town of Padstow, Rick Stein has opened his restaurants and café and he has recently acquired a local pub in St Merryn in which he intends to offer a range of affordable and delicious traditional pub food. Jamie Oliver has his world famous 15 restaurant at Watergate Bay, near Newquay.

In nearby Newquay, there is the Blue Reef Aquarium, Holywell Fun Park, Happa Valley Steam Railway and Newquay Zoo.
Cornwall also has an ancient heritage and stone circles and iron age villages can be found. It is also famous for its writers such as Daphne du Maurier and John Betjemen and its vibrant art scene with artists from the Newlyn and St Ives schools.
