Newlyn is within easy reach of the local sandy beaches of Porthcuron and Sennen, great for surfing, body boarding walking or just relaxing. From the house its a short walk to the coastal path that leads you to the village of Mousehole with it’s rocky coast, ideal for fishing, crabbing and beach combing.
To the East is Penzance promenade leading to the 1930’s Lido, where in August you can see the local raft race and mile swim, all raising funds to light up the harbour with the Newlyn Christmas lights, and accompanies the August bank holiday Newlyn Fish festival.
