We have renovated The Olde Laundry several years ago, it's a cosy and comfortable cottage, with many of its original features. The cottages date back to the 17th Century, grade 2 listed. The olde Laundry is on ground level , Lounge, Dining room, Kitchen, Bedroom, Twin beds, en suite, with walk in shower, and bath. The cottage is very well equipped cosy and comfortable and retains that old world charm, it has a small patio area outside the cottage, and shares the beautiful 2 acre garden with other guests. You walk through the woodland leading you down to the banks of the river Waveney, Springtime brings a wonderful display of snowdrops, daffodils and tulips, you can take the angles way footpath that runs through the village and along the river bank, or just sit back relax and watch out for the Swans, Ducks, Kingfishers, Heron, Otter, Woodpeckers. Owls are becoming more popular along the Waveney valley, its a challenge so see if you can spot them from the river bank. We have just
added a nest box hoping they take advantage of it.
Or just sit back feed the wildlife and watch the fish jump. Many guests take a bottle of wine with them it beats the pub.
Fishing is available from the bank, or local fishing lakes are within easy reach. You can canoe along the river.
Prices include bedding, towels, tea towels, cleaning materials, electric and heating, a warm welcome awaits you in our home from home cottages.
