Zora is one of six flats at Villa Caterina. This beautiful villa is situated atop a hill just eight hundred metres from the sandy beaches of Cefalù. Because of its grand tower and all of the accompanying details, it is possible to say that Villa Caterina is unique in all Cefalù. The villa is surrounded by a pleasant private garden. In one direction there is a breathtaking view of the sea. In another there is an amazing view of La Rocca, Cefalù's defining feature. The garden is a perfect place to relax during the day and to enjoy dinners in the evening. It is a wonderful place for children as well, as they are safe and secure within the villa's enclosed walls. In the surrounding neighborhood are many authentic Sicilian restaurants, pubs, and shops. The Old Town, barely six hundred metres away, is easily reachable by foot.
The Zora flat is comprised of a bedroom with a king-size bed, a second bedroom with two single beds, a bathroom with shower cabin, a spacious and fully equipped kitchen with TV, a balcony with view of the sea and a private terrace with view of the Rocca.

Cefalù is situated on the northern coast of Sicily, just 65 km from Palermo. Cefalù is well known for both its natural and historical attractions. Indeed, it is possible to admire even today some of the most beautiful examples of the famed Arabic-Norman architectural style in Cefalù. The Cefalù Cathedral, the Mandralisca Museum, the Osterio Magno, and the Lavatoio Medievale are just a few of the splendid attractions of this scenic little town. The sands of Cefalù's beach are soft, but if one prefers a more rocky and dramatic shore, one need only walk around to the other side of La Rocca. Cefalù is also part of the Madonie Park, one of the biggest natural park areas in Sicily. The Madonie Mountains are perfect for trekking and hiking.
The climate in Sicily is subtropical. This means that even in wintertime one will never suffer the bitter cold. The "summer" starts in April and goes on until November. July and August are quite hot (30-35 degrees) and dry.
If one is keen to discover Sicily, Cefalù is the ideal place from which to begin. Palermo with its numerous historical buildings and one-of-a-kind markets is a mere sixty minutes away by train. On the way to Palermo one must surely stop in Bagheria to visit some of the city's baroque villas, and from there on to Solunto! Solunto is an ancient Graeco-Roman town that preserves the original layout of the village (streets, houses, the temple, etc.) along with hosting a breathtaking view. Taormina, Mount Etna, and Agrigento also must be seen! From Cefalú one can even easily reach the Aeolian Islands by ferryboat.
Coastal boat trips and scuba diving are activities really worth experiencing, trust us!
All these excursions and activities are conducted by the team at Solemar Sicilia, who will be there to assist whatever the need.
