Oliveto Holiday Apartments are situated on the south west coast of Lake Garda, surrounded by a 15 acre private estate of meadow and olive trees, opposite an old roman village. We are just minutes away from Salò, an historic old town, embedded in a large bay with the longest promenade of any town on the lake and is ideal for shopping and strolling around.

Our apartment is tastefully decorated and has its own private entrance and is situated on the ground floor. Kitchen/living area with cooker, oven, fridge, freezer, kettle, double sofa bed, flat screen satellite TV. Hand-made pottery consisting of dinner plates, pasta bowls, side plates, tea-pot, cups etc. All necessary utensils for cooking. Table cloth, tea-towels and placemats are provided. Bedroom with double bed, wardrobe, drawers and bedside lockers. Bathroom with shower. Hairdryer provided. Cot/high chair are available on request. It opens out onto a large tiled porch that is furnished with a rattan sofa set, table and chairs, giving guests the possibility of “al fresco” dining. The large garden is completely enclosed with fencing and an electric gate to guarantee the safety of our smaller guests.

Guests have the use of a large garden with sunbeds, tables and chairs, barbeque, and herb garden. We produce our own olive oil and all our guests on arrival receive a bottle of our olive oil and red wine vinegar for use during their stay. We also have our own hens and are delighted to supply our guests with free organic eggs. We grow our own vegetables, have numerous fruit trees (cherry, apricot, plum and peach) and so our guests are also given fruit and vegetables according to availability. Fresh bread, pizza slices and croissants can be ordered for delivery to the apartments each morning.

Salo

Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy and is suitable for all holiday-makers. Whether you enjoy water sports or sightseeing or whether you like to enjoy a drink on the lake front and watch the people go by or whether you simply like soaking up the sun on one of the many beaches.

As well as visiting the many charming towns around the lake, this is a very central location for a variety of day trips, for example, to Venice, Verona (the Verona arena is a superbly well preserved 2000 year old Roman amphitheatre which hosts the famous Verona opera. The summer opera season here runs from July to September and provides a spectacle for up to 16,000 people in the original arena), Bergamo a medieval town of art and architecture and also the superb Dolomite mountains.

Our nearest lake town, Salò, has good ferry links and therefore it's easy to get a boat to most parts of the lake from here. The long and beautifully kept lakeside promenade is definitely one of the best on the whole lake. The buildings here are also very classical and the whole lakeside area is extremely attractive. There are some very nice shops and a good selection of places to eat. On the edge of town, heading towards the south part of the bay, there are several shingle beaches that offer lovely views of the town and the mountains behind.
