We purchased the land outside of Dalyan in 2005 with the view to have a villa built, as we fell in love with the wonderful natural countryside and the wonderful people and friends. The villa was designed for us by a local architect with some help from us. It surrounded by the sea, lakes and mountains in an national trust area. It has uninterrupted panoramic 360 degree views. There are bikes but these must be used at the clients discretion. A car would be a good idea as there is so much to see and enjoy.. In the immediate area are the river, tombs, beach, boat trips and mud baths with a local market held on Saturdays. The nearest restaurant/bar is 5 minute walk away. It is called The Golbashi Restaurant & Bar.Then of course the rest are in Dalyan, which is only taxi drive away. If you don't have a car the Dolmus stops at the end of our road and only goes to the beach or into Dalyan. You could always ask a Turkish cook to come to the villa to cook you a traditional Turkish meal, as we have a bar-b-cue outside. This quite area and is ideal for bird watching from the kirsch at the end of the pool. The birds have found this a quite haven for them to nest and over the last 2 years we have our own small owl. So this will give some idea of the area in which we are surrounded. From the veranda on a clear day you can see the beach and the boats with their tall masts. It is a very beautiful spot and we wish to share this experience with you. One client last year kindly described it as 'A piece of Turkish delight'. All our rooms have ensuites and air con. Also wheel chair access.

The Villa is situated in the beautiful historic area of Dalyan which means 'fish trap' on the Ituzu Beach Road which leads to Turtle Beach. This is a conservation area for the Loggerhead Turtles who they lay their eggs on the beach. It is an area of intense beauty and its wonderful beach is ideal for swimming in the warm Mediterranean waters, sun bathing or a stroll along the beach which is 4 km long. From our villa you can see the Lycian Rock Tombs which have been shaped out of the rock face. They look beautiful at night as they are lit up. There are many things to do whilst on holiday here. Take a boat trip to see the turtles, swim in the sea and have a barbecue on the boat. The famous mud baths are a long lasting experience and cannot be missed. White river rafting and Safari jeep trips can be booked. The 12 Island boat trip is a wonderful way to see and appreciate this area.
The villa is situated about just outside Dalyan which can be a 2 minute drive away or a bus stops at the end of our road. We are surrounded by mountains and breath taking countryside, ideal for a relaxing holiday with its large private secluded pool. The villa is fully air conditioned and has that home from home atmosphere, which is ideal for families and couples. It can sleep 6 comfortably, but has a z bed and sofa making it possible for 8.
In the country side around the villa, clients have found it ideal for bird watching. Some birds that have been recorded there are the small owl, swifts, herons, storks, sparrows wag tails, and many more. So we invite you to share this wonderful piece of heaven with us.
The Villa is situated in the breath taking country side surrounded by mountains and pomegranate fields. It was built in 2007 and we have made sure that the best facilities are provided. The pool is large and secluded 48,53 m2. The gardens are mature and there is a Kusch which can be used to spot birds or shelter from the sun. The pool is surrounded by a large patio area which has sun beds, umbrellas and patio furniture, also a barbecue.
The town of Dalyan has the inhabitant of about 6,000. It is wonderfully quaint and has a markets every Saturday where you can buy a wonderful selection of fruit and vegetables. It has stall that provide the town with it Tourism and sells silver, spices, T shirts and wonderful linen and towels. The town center is open in the evenings where you can enjoy the delicious Turkish food and browse the stalls for a bargain.
Fethiye and Marmaris are only a short journey away which can be reached by boat , bus or you could hire a car. They too have wonderful markets to walk through and buy bread and hot pastries.
This area is truly idyllic and well worth a visit. We have been visiting Dalyan for 17 years now and still find little gems of beauty and the local people are so very helpful and speak English very well.
The photo of the villa on the map has changed as there are new building in the area. They do not change the views or the privacy.
