A large holiday house in a spectacular setting, overlooking the beautiful Axe Valley, just a short drive west of Lyme Regis. Perfect for large get-togethers, the house has six bedrooms, three with en suite facilities, as well as a family bathroom. The ground floor bedroom is also served by a separate shower room, a good option for those with limited mobility. Most of the bedrooms, and the ground floor living rooms, take advantage of the stunning views. The comfortable lounge enjoys views over the garden and the adjoining dining room (which accommodates 14 guests sitting down to dine together) has patio doors that open onto the large landscaped garden and sun terrace. A well equipped kitchen, including a range cooker, will allow larger groups to cater for themselves in comfort. A couple of the larger bedrooms include sitting areas with TVs so there is plenty of opportunity for those of all ages to enjoy some private space.

The house is located close to the stunning Jurassic Coast, just 5 miles west of Lyme Regis and close to the pretty little village of Axmouth on the Axe estuary. From its elevated position overlooking the valley the house enjoys magnificent open views. The coast is less than 2 miles away and the whole area is a haven for walkers. There are a selection of good local pubs in the nearby villages of Colyford and Axmouth. Lyme Regis is a very short drive to the east and Sidmouth around 10 miles to the west. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall`s River Cottage shop and restaurant are only a few minutes drive away in the East Devon market town of Axminster. This area is great for coastal or countryside walking and cycling as well as for traditional seaside holidays. The beautiful Axe estuary is perfect for water sports and has an active kayaking club. There are lots of great village pubs within a very short distance. The beautiful seaside town of Lyme Regis is just a short drive to the east and the lovely regency town of Sidmouth is less than 10 miles to the west. There are lots of activities for all ages nearby including the wonderful Seaton Tramway, the Donkey Sanctuary, Escot Park and the Charmouth Heritage Centre.
