The Paphos region

The charming west coast town of Paphos has a population of 38,000.

Kato Paphos has a harbor, fish taverns, souvenir shops and archaeological sites. The whole of Paphos was actually designated a World Heritage Site in 1980.

The old town has a covered market where you can buy everything form souvenirs to fresh fruit, vegetables and fresh fish. In addition to this charming old market there are numerous high street boutiques, sandwich and coffee shops and a variety of other tradesmen dotted throughout the town.

Paphos is full of natural beauty and wide open, undisturbed spaces where you can unwind and relax. You get the best of both worlds in Paphos as you also get a modern infrastructure, great shopping, and lots of restaurants and bars to enjoy. In addition, the recent upgrades and privatization of Paphos international airport will continue to increase the desirability of the Paphos district.

Cyprus's adoption of the Euro on January 1, 2008 makes it easier for tourists visiting the island.

Chlorakas village is situated along the Tombs of the Kings on the way to Coral Bay. It has some fantastic properties which are always in demand as well as many bars, restaurants and beaches on the coastal side of the village. There is also a fantastic walking path along the beach with wonderful scenery along the Chlorakas coastline.

Up the hills, into the village you will find the village center with all the amenities you could ask for including Papantoniou supermarket, pharmacy and banks. This village is in the perfect, central location to all Paphos has to offer. It is a short drive to Paphos town, Kato Paphos and Coral Bay.
