Surprisingly spacious and versatile residence in the Northbourne Conservation Area of Didcot dating back to 1874. Location is perfect for families because this is cul-de-sac, and there is not much traffic on the street. Originally a 2-bed cottage, the house benefits from many extensions and conversions carried out over a number of years. The property has a newly-installed heating system and Bosch boiler, newly fitted shaker style kitchen with in-built Bosch appliances, and new double glazing throughout. There are two reception rooms on the ground floor, kitchen and breakfast room, two bedrooms (king and double beds) and a spacious bathroom on the first floor, and a loft converted into the kids den on the second floor (two single beds *not suitable for adults*). Ground floor has a sofa bed which can be used to accommodate more guests. Please note that bookings for more than 2 adults will have cleaning fee added to the final price.
Outside there is a mature garden at the back with patio area and a good sized area for children to play (outdoor toys and sand pit provided). Guests can park just outside the property on the street. There is no residents parking scheme in Didcot, so you can park your car anywhere except the usual double-lines/dropped curb etc.

There is a good size kitchen with traditional shaker units. Bosch appliances (dishwasher, cooker, hob, washing machine) and our tumble dryer with extra tall fridge/freezer will make your everyday chores a breeze. We provide the washing powder and conditioner should you wish to do laundry, ironing board and iron are available too.
There is 32" HD TV with freeview channels in the living room now, BluRay player, a small library of DVDs, computer games, books, board games, and a box of toys for your entertainment.
Although this is a self-catering holiday let, we still offer you continental breakfast consisting of Kellogg's cereal packs, muesli, choco pops, frosties, 4 types of jam portions and honey for your toast. There is a supply of tea, sugar, and coffee which you are welcome to. Sainsburys is just 5 mins walk away to pick up your milk and fresh croissants. We would also live a small UHT packet of semi-skimmed milk in the fridge for you.
