Who does not know the Campania region and its wonderful places?
Throughout much of its history Campania has been at the centre of Western Civilisation's most significant entities. The area was colonised by Ancient Greeks and was within Magna Græcia, until the Roman Republic began to dominate. During the Roman era the area was highly respected as a place of culture by the emperors, where it balanced Greco-Roman culture.
The area had many duchies and principalities during the Middle Ages, in the hands of the Byzantine Empire and some Lombards.
Nearby are visited Roccamonfina with his chestnut to 10 km, 8 km from the medieval city of Sessa Aurunca with its pleasant old town and the archaeological roman area , 11 km are stables and farms, 15 km away there are the Baths of Suio, 22 km sea and the great beaches of Baia Domizia, 40 km from the seaside town of Gaeta, 53 kilometres from the white beaches of Sperlonga, 70 km from Caserta and 80 from Naples. Nearby very nice villages are visited as the town of Teano, and sites and prehistoric interest of Tora e Piccilli (the footsteps of the devil). The structure is a few miles from the regional park of the river Garigliano.
