The Central Thailand/Bangkok region

A beautiful area of long quiet beaches and the hills of Sam Roi Yod National Park. Unspoilt fishing village of PakNamPran nearby with Pranburi, a large Thai town some 15 minutes away, where Tesco and Makro have large Hypermarkets.. Many small local restaurants and other eateries provide a choice of mouth watering-and maybe spicy !!!-Thai food at very good prices - some 'European' food too. Kuiburi Elephant Village is some 30 minutes away, where many elephants are to be seen in natural surroundings. City of Hua Hin is 30 minutes drive for shopping malls and a more touristy night out.

Hua Hin

This is an area for those liking the tranquilty of experiencing the sun rising over the sea from long long unspoilt beaches and setting over the coconut trees and the distant hills bordering Myanmar (Burma). Sam Roi Yod National Park is an area of outstanding natural beauty, having many lovely beaches, caves for exploring, small boat and river trips, prawn farms and a Thai visitor centre.
