From the Kitchen is a hallway and door to a spacious front lounge, furnished to a high standard with comfortable 3&2 settee and matching large chair and stool. coffee table and matching nest of tables; 3 side tables; a large pine storage cupboard filled with entertainment for those rainy days; A white Adams style fire surround with marble hearth and a glowing embers and flame effect fire. A large TV; with dvd and video players. The window overlooks the open countryside.
The hallway leads past the staircase to the downstairs bathroom which has a modern curved glass shower; sink, toilet and washing machine.
Opposite to the shower room is the downstairs back sitting room which is light and airy,it is comfortably furnished with a 3 & 2 seater settees; 2 easy chairs; oval bamboo table and 2 chairs; TV / dvd player; small pine cupboard, built in wardrobe housing, vacuum,iron;ironing board and clothes airers.
There is an ajoining room off with a triple bed, double bed underneath and single bed on top; 2 side tables and a small pine cupboard.
Both rooms have large window overlooking the back garden and the beach.
At the top of the stairs is the traditionally furnished master bedroom; with a large pine fourposter bed;matching dressing table and stool;bedside draws;sideboard; a fitted wardrobe with storage and hanging rails; it stores extra bedding a travel cot and a bed safety rail. There is small bamboo settee in the room. a bamboo dressing mirror.
It has a large picture window with lovely views of the Mendip hills and surrounding areas also views of nearby Weston super mare. Its looks lovely at night when all the twinkly lights are on.
Further along the landing is the 2nd family sized bathroom which is directly above the bathroom down stairs. There is a bath with a powerful thermostatic power shower , a toilet and sink. It is decorated with a pirate theme.
Next door is the second smaller double bedroom, with modern decor. It has twin single beds ; matching pine wardrobe with large and small set of draws. Its a bright and airy room with a large picture window with views matching the master bedroom.
The house has a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. ideal if someone who has limited mobility and unable to get out and about.
The 2 lounge rooms have lovely views and comfortable seating to wind the day away looking over the Mendip hills.
To watch a video or a dvd. to sit and do one of the many jigsaws,read a book, do a quiz these are some of the family entertainment in the house for holiday makers to relax and enjoy.
The bedsit room is situated on the ground floor and is next door to the shower room which is suitable for an elderly or a person with limited mobility.
There is lots to do in Brean and the surrounding areas; fishing,walking,water sports, land yachting,windsurfing, Birdwatching ( ideal for Autumn & spring migration ). Photography, amazing sunsets. etc.
Pubs, clubs,restaurants,local entertainments for adults and children. Its for children, teenagers,adults,elderly,persons with limited mobility,
Ideal location for touring all the Somerset attractions, eg Cheddar, Wells etc' . A walk to Burnham on Sea straight from the garden all along the beautiful beach takes about one and a half hours. Or to Brean Down twenty minutes.
Brean is a great place to be in the Spring and Summer season but it's also a beautiful place to be in the Autum and Winter .

From October Brean celebrates the Country and Weston themes you will meet holiday makers dressed up as cowboys/girls and Indians walking the streets of Brean and Burnham. Street fairs Tents selling alsorts of Country and Weston memorabilia, shows , gun fights, party nights , line dancing all going on in and around Brean.
Then in November Burnham has a weekend spectacular the famous Southwest 100 Carnival floats night the biggest display you'll ever see. the whole of Burnham streets are laidened with street seller and people watching the spectacular variety of characterized and musical floats all lite up and passing through the streets of Burnham. On the same weekend the Burnham- on -Sea firework display the most spectacular and dramatic fireworks displayed to music on the Beach, it is truly the most memorable display you will ever see, a real must for Autumn holiday makers.

Brean is the ideal place to explore Somerset , including Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury, Wells, Exmoor ,Bath, Longleat and many other places of interest.
Devon is an hour down the motorway if desired.
A day trip to Steepholm or Little Holm in the Bristol Channel can be arranged in advance, though only one trip per week throughout the Summer. The Somerset levels have a lot to offer on the natural side, including Birdwatching throughout the year.
Towards Weston along the River Axe is Uphill, a quaint place to explore. North of Weston there are plenty of places to stop up to Portishead and Bristol.
Somerset itself is littered with lovely country villages, pubs and local traditions, including Cider making. The County itself is very rural.
Brean is a very rural area on one side of the road is open countryside and the Mendip hills and on the otherside of the road there is the beach.
Brean Down is a famous land mark. It is a holiday resort with approx 7 miles of beach stretching to Burnham-on Sea.
