Welcome to Bryn Yr Haul...
This wonderful house, set at the southern end of the Brecon Beacons National Park, offers the perfect base for a family holiday, a short break or just a weekend away from it all.
It is perfect for all the family, including your pets.
This bright and airy house has 5 large bedrooms, all with huge picture windows that let in loads of light all year around.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed, 2 easy chairs, its own television and two large windows looking out onto the amazing scenery. It has its own, separate dressing room with plenty of wardrobes and a dressing table with mirror over. It also has its own shower room with shower, toilet and wash hand basin. The baby's cot is usually kept in here too, but this is easily moved.
There are three further rooms with double beds all with their own special attractions. One has its own ensuite shower room, another has a stunning walk-in wardrobe while the third has a range of beautifully crafted fitted bedroom furniture.
The fifth bedroom has five single beds - ideal for the children all to sleep in the same room - or whatever yougsters do on a sleepover!
Downstairs, the main lounge has super-comfy sofas, a couple of leather reading chairs, TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs for all the family, a wood burner to gather around, two huge windows to let in the sun, and patio doors out onto the terrace overlooking the garden.
The dining room features the dining table that seats twelve comfortably, a dresser, another wood burner and another massive window, overlooking the garden.
The third lounge - "the Cwtch" - is home to two more sofas, one of which folds out to provide another double bed, the CD player/radio and the router for the free wi-fi access. There is a selection of cd's - hope you find something you like! - and also some family favourite board games and playing cards. Throughout the house there is a wide selection of books for you to enjoy.
The modern kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. Appliances include halogen hob, double oven, fridge, freezer, dishwashe and drinks cooler. There is plenty of cupboard space and work surface for the cooks amongst you.
For those early risers, there is also a kitchen table and chairs to enjoy that first cuppa of the day, gazing out over the garden.
The washing machine and tumble dryer and in the Utility Room, along with access to the ewashing lines and more of the garden.
Just off the impressive hall is the emergency loo for those not quite able to make it upstairs!
And hidden away, in the garage, is the games room featuring pool, darts, table football and air hockey as well as loads of playthings for our younger guests.
The whole house has a feel of space, light and freedom - plenty of space for everyone to be together but room enough also to be on your own to enjoy some peace and quiet.

Can't recommend this house enough...
We spent an unforgettable week in your comfortable house. A beautiful, enchanted landscape which takes your breath away.
The area is near a big number of tourist attractions and natural beauty for sightseeing! So a perfect place if you love both nature and culture.
A privilege to be able to spend a few quality days in what is nothing short of a "home from home". Very comfortable.
I would definitely recommend this and have rebooked to return in the summer...
What a wonderful property. We all had a super time.

The southern end of the Brecon Beacons National Parl but also on the edge of industrial South Wales.
So you have country walking and cycling for all abilities, country activities such as fishing ( on the world famous Rivers Usk and Wye) and shooting all combined with the history of the coal and steel industries of South Wales, including Big Pit mining museum and the Iron Works in the World heritage Site of Blaenavon ( as seen on television programmes such as "Coal House" and "Time Team" And yet we are less than an hour from Wales' capital city, Cardiff with all the attractions of a modern city. Similarly, you can reach the renowned beaches of Swansea and the Mumbles in less than an hour.
Abergavenny is a small market town that was a key spot on the old drovers' paths. It has the usual suspects of national shopping chains as well as loads of interesting independent shops catering for all interests. There are loads of wonderful places to eat and drink - with Michelin-starred chefs, fine wines (we even have Sugar Loaf Vinetads here, producing beautiful wines), and plenty of local real ales within easy reach. And all this in stunning valleys scenery where you can see mountains, rolling hills and winding river valleys all from the same place - gloious
There are plenty of activities - sporting, tourism, historical - or just come and relax.
