This property is a beautiful Grade II listed building, with stunning views over the picturesque town of Bradford On Avon. Just a short distance from all the splendid amenities in the town which includes cafes, restaurants, indoor swimming pool and a selection of independent shops.

The light, bright, contemporary accommodation is arranged over two floors. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, each with tremendous views, and an adjacent bathroom. On the ground floor you will find the modern, well equipped kitchen / diner. This leads directly into the relaxed lounge, with its stone fireplace and wooden floors.

Immediately outside the front door is the lovely south-facing garden which has a table and chairs for a spot of afternoon tea or alfresco dining.

The Wiltshire region

Bradford on Avon is a beautiful Cotswold town and lovely to walk around. As well as parks, there are riverside and canal walks. With its own Tithe Barn and Saxon Church, Bradford has many historic buildings. It has a great choice of places in which to eat and many fine pubs. It has an indoor swimming pool.

Bath is only 10 minutes away by train or 15 minutes by car. It is a fabulous city to visit any time of year, with its Georgian splendor, thermal spas and Roman history, museums, art galleries and diversity of restaurants and cafes. Visit its Christmas markets. Or walk along the canal or follow the Bath Skyline.

There is cycle hire available in Bradford on Avon, and there are many good cycle routes - for example take the Kennet and Avon canal towpath to Bath.

Bradford-on-Avon

This cottage makes a very sensible base from which to explore the Cotswolds. The National Trust and English Heritage have many houses and gardens in the area. Great Chalfield Manor and The Courts in Holt are only three miles away.

The beautiful Lacock village (a favourite for film and TV producers for its picturesque streets and historic cottages) is a 25 minute drive away and Castle Combe is always worth a visit any time of year. You will find Stonehenge and Longleat Safari park are very close by.
