The apartment was founded in the Sixties by the conversion of an old carpentry warehouse in residence. When we saw it for the first time there was still much to do to make it comfortable and cozy, yet it struck us immediately for its strategic position and the somewhat 'bohemian' typical of the recovered places in cities like Venice. After six months of hard work we are happy to have believed it, and the result is just the space intriguing and warm at the same time, we had in mind from the beginning. We would like our guests to feel at home here in a house which is not to forget.

The apartment has a nice open plan of 45 square meters, where there are a kitchenette with a fridge and microwave, bathroom with shower, a large living area with dining table and sofa bed for two people and a sleeping area with double bed and a cloakroom. Ideal for 2 people, can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people.

Amenities: TV, air conditioning, heating, washing machine, kitchenware, linens and towels.

The apartment is located on the ground floor and is accessed from a street very quiet and peaceful, but it seems important to inform you that it hasn't got a particular view. The windows overlook a private garden and on a small street that leads to the channel.

On the other hand, the area is one of the most interesting of Venice. The house is located in the Santa Croce district, in an area between the Saint Lucia station, the bus terminal Piazzale Roma and Rialto area, famous for its daily market of fruits, vegetables and fresh fish and the many historic “osterie”open till late. The vaporetto stop (line 1) San Stae on the Grand Canal is a hundred meters from the house and the Campo San Giacomo dell'Orio, animated by bars, cafes and restaurants can be reached on foot in two minutes. In the immediate vicinity there are also some of the major museums of Venice: the Gallery of Modern Art (Ca 'Pesaro), the Prada Foundation(Ca' Corner della Regina) and the Museum of Natural Sciences (Fondaco dei Turchi). But what really makes this area special is that the Santa Croce district, although so central, it still retains its popular and "Venetian"character. For this reason, here are some of the restaurants, bars and pubs favored by the Venetians and it will be a pleasure to introduce you to.
