A converted apartment in a small village called "el Tamuxe" belonging to the municipality of O Rosal, an idyllic location in the province of Pontevedra in Galicia at the southern tip of north-west Spain in an area called the Rias Baixas. The property is situated on a wine route surrounded by vineyards renowned for Albarino variety of grape which is used to produce white wines of the same name.

Within close proximity to a many local beauty spots and protected wildlife areas, places of historical interest and areas of outstanding natural beauty this is an ideal place from which to explore and discover one of Spain's best kept secrets. The property is situated next to an estuary that feeds into the river Mino, the natural geographical divide between southern Galicia and north Portugal and is within 8KM to the nearest crossing into Portugal or a quick ferry boat across from the nearest town of La Guardia, itself renowned for its fresh seafood and in particular "Langosta" and "Bogavantes", in English lobster and crayfish respectively and home to ancient Celtic villages atop the mountain of Sta. Tecla with stunning views out over the rugged Atlantic coastline.

The closest city is Vigo within 30 minutes drive, Santiago de Compostela is an hour and a half northwards and Porto is an hour drive away.

There are numerous beaches in the area, for the more adventurous you could take a trip over to "Las Islas Cies", an atoll of islands off the coast a protected nature reserve listed by the Guardian as one of the top ten most beautiful beaches in the world. The area is also a favourite with cyclists, runners, climbers, hiking, fishing and kayak enthusiasts whilst also perfect for families with children, young or old who just want to relax and enjoy the clean air, fresh food an sights the area has to offer.
