This delightful studio apartment is situated on the ground floor of a 120 year-old stone building in a quiet street just two minutes walk from the railway station and five minutes from the town centre and beach. The apartment sits on the side of a family home but has its own entrance as well as a private garden area with seating and barbecue.

The location is ideal for all local amenities, including shops, bars, restaurants, golf courses and the world-famous Bass Rock and Seabird Centre. A frequent train service provides easy access to the heart of Edinburgh with a relaxed journey through the East Lothian countryside taking approximately 30 minutes.

Old Abbey Road is a quiet, family-friendly street. Like the town of North Berwick, it is steeped in history with the apartment sitting opposite the ruins of North Berwick Priory which was established 800 years ago.

The studio has recently been refurbished and contains a large kitchen / living / bedroom area with a comfortable IKEA bed which can be used as a single or opened up to a comfortable double. A travel cot and/or extra fold-down bed can also be provided free. The renovation is modern but adopts a gentle seaside theme to reflect the general feel of North Berwick. A small hall and light shower room with toilet area complete the accommodation.

The kitchen area is well equipped with a ceramic hob and electric oven, a microwave, toaster and dishwasher as well as ample cookware, china, cutlery and glass for those wishing to cook at home. TV, DVD and unlimited free WiFi are included.

Ample hanging space is provided along with a washing machine in the hall cupboard.

Guests are also welcome to visit the chicken enclosure in the family garden and help themselves to fresh eggs for breakfast ... a great memory for visiting youngsters.
