There is a large living room with exposed beams, a log burning stove, leather seating, 32" Freeview TV and French doors out to a private enclosed patio garden with a picnic table. There are two small bedrooms, a double and a twin, and a wet-room with a shower, hand-basin & WC. Free WiFi.

The cottages and grounds are very child friendly. We can provide a cot, high chair and fire guard (if required) and within the grounds is a large children's play area comprising two towers linked with a bridge, a swing, slide, climbing board, climbing net, fireman's pole, ladder, periscope and driving wheel. Beside the play area is a sheltered arbour seat with lovely views for the grown-ups.

The village of Challacombe is very friendly towards visitors, and in an ideal central location from which to explore the heart of Exmoor, the sandy beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde, and the rocky coves of the North Devon & Somerset coast.
