The area is fabulous for exploring the great outdoors whether walking or cycling the coastline or forests, taking a river boat trip, trying out sports including windsurfing, kite surfing, canoeing, horse riding, golf or fishing, or simply enjoying some of the best beaches the UK has to offer including 7 miles of golden Blue Flag beaches at Bournemouth and Poole

You need only take a short riverside stroll from Captain's View to reach Christchurch Quay, with its children's park, Splashpark and beautiful open space and views to the Isle of Wight. The nearby town centre is filled with a wide choice of restaurants, pubs, cafes (many both dog and family friendly) There is great shopping too with both with big name chains and lots of small independent shops

Visitor attractions abound in the area including Paultons Park, Bournemouth Oceanarium, Bournemouth Eye, Snowtrax, Adventure Wonderland and many more.
