The vibrant, historic city of Edinburgh is a wonderful place to visit whether you are interested in exploring the castle and admiring the architecture, or enjoying the various festivals and culture that the city has to offer.
Situated just over a mile from the centre of town, this well appointed West End apartment is within walking distance of all the main attractions and has an allocated parking space for your car if you plan on travelling further afield. The apartment is on the top floor of a well maintained building within a friendly, peaceful residential development. The accommodation is accessed by a secure entry system and has two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, one single bedroom, a family bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and a large living room boasting a flat screen television with cable. The apartment is double glazed and has gas central heating to keep you warm and fast broadband Wi-Fi and plenty of spare power sockets to keep you connected with family and friends.
Within a 5 minute walk there are restaurants, bars, take-aways, coffee shops, breakfast outlets as well as a 'Tesco extra' shop where you can pick up your groceries. There are regular bus services just outside the apartment which can take you straight in to town, to the train station or straight to the airport. Bus tickets are £1.50 per journey or £3.50 for a day ticket and the airport Airlink bus is £3.50 for an adult. The new Murrayfield tram station is within 5 minutes and there are also lovely walks nearby - including a walk along the Water of Leith river and a large park if you fancy going for a run, or kicking a ball around.
Murrayfield Stadium is just round the corner and it is really handy for those rugby weekends or the concerts that are regularly on during the summer. If you are keen to try your luck at the many golf courses that surround Edinburgh, this would be a fantastic location and equally if you are visiting to soak up the splendour of the famous festival of to sample the New Year or Hogmanay cheer!
All bedding and towels are provided along with washing powder, and other odds and ends that you would expect to find. We will also make sure that there is a fresh pint of milk in the fridge, coffee, tea, sugar, as well as salt, pepper, olive oil as well as a fruit basket. All the kitchen equipment that you would expect is present such as cutlery, crockery, glasses, cooking equipment and utensils. There is a washing machine as well as kettle, toaster, oven, cooker, microwave fridge and freezer. If you are wanting to stay more than a week, there will be a laundry change (New bedding/towels) and clean on Saturday. We can also organise more frequent laundry changes if required.
We will aim to meet you at the property to help you with your bags and give you a tour of the apartment, show you how everything works and answer any questions you may have.
