Tugella Cottage is a pretty, detached cottage which was fully refurbished in 2013. It is set in a quiet, central position in the historic market town of Stratton. It is within a two minute walk of village amenities, including Post Office, local store and two pubs. The cottage is set in an enclosed garden with lockable shed to store bikes/body boards etc. There is private parking for 2 cars to the front and side of property. It is accessed from the road via a drive-way and five bar gate. The property and garden have views of open fields to the rear.
Family friendly: travel cot, highchair and a selection of toys, books and DVDs are available.
May be unsuitable for people with restricted mobility due to a high step to enter the property. Once inside all rooms on ground and first floor have level access.

TWO BEDROOMS: 1 double with views over open fields to the rear of the property and 1 twin with zip-and-link beds which will be made up as single beds unless specified in the booking that super-king size bed is required. Please note that if this option is selected two single duvets will be provided. The twin room has space for a travel cot. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes/cupboards and black out curtains.
BATHROOM: with thermostatic shower over bath and WC. There is a mirror over the wash basin with a socket for an electric shaver.
LOUNGE/DINER: double aspect room with TV with freeview, DVD player, large 2 seater sofa and further 2 seater sofa, extending dining table.
KITCHEN: well equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
OUTSIDE: off-road parking for 2 cars, garden to the side with garden furniture and wash line. There is a lockable garden shed for bicycles/body boards etc which also contains BBQ and buckets and spades.
AMENITIES: bed linen and towels included in rent. Full gas central heating. Regret no smoking in the property.
LOCATION: 2 pubs, store and post office within 200 yards. Beach 2 miles.

The 5 bar gate also provides access to a garage belonging to a different property and so needs to be kept clear of vehicles. Adjoining the vehicular gate is a pedestrian gate which provides access across the property's land to the rear of a couple of properties. Note that this does not run across the garden or paved areas or close to the property and is not frequently used.
There is a small slope at the side of the property which leads to a locked gate and area to the rear which also belongs to the property but which is not accessible to guests.

Morrisons supermarket, indoor swmimming pool, ten-pin bowling and indoor play area are all situated just 1 mile from the cottage.
The seaside town of Bude is a 5 minute drive away. Bude is situated on the Atlantic Heritage Coast and is known for its popular sandy, surfing beaches. It has a canal, Castle museum, children's play parks, selection of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. There are golf courses and surfing and horse riding schools in Bude and the surrounding area.
