Lovely modern gatehouse to private estate, with high end modern interior, sleeps up to 6 people with 1 king size bed, and 2 twins. 3 bathrooms (1 wet room shower, 1 jacuzzi bath, and 1 power shower) Also utility room and games room.

The estate tennis court has just been resurfaced (July 2014) so please feel free to bring tennis rackets, we do have some in the pavilion but they're quite old!

Easy access from the M6 and into the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, with excellent walking, biking and horse riding

Please contact the owner if you would like to bring HORSES/PONIES. We have stables, turnout, menage and cross country jumps, as well as excellent fell hacking in the area.

The Burton in Kendal area has lovely fell land and a tranquil village, with great pubs and canal walks. From the top of the fell you can see the whole of Morecambe Bay, sometimes on a clear day as far as Blackpool tower, the Lakeland hills, and the Yorkshire Dales, including Ingleborough. Leighton Moss bird sanctuary is about 10 minutes drive away, with the famous starlings and bird life
