We chose to restore a 400 year old house in a typical, quiet Sardinian village: Sagama about 200 souls. We preserved the original features such as stone staircase, the thick stone walls and the long corridor that runs length of the house, maintaining an architectural heritage of simplicity and functionality. The house is naturally cool in summer and its presence and atmosphere makes it easy and pleasant to live in. The village has the advantage of cool quiet nights after a hot day visiting sites or beaches.
The heart of the house is the courtyard, which, with its herb and flower beds, offerring an intimate and relaxing area. The solarium and pool with its spacious deck offer outdoor relaxation with views of un unspoilt valley.
We are within 50 km of Alghero and Oristano airports, and centrally located to visit many of Sardinia's best west coast and inland attractions. Being only 12 km from the sea and Bosa allows easy access to beaches.
We want to share our fortunate house with guests, friends and family.

Sagama has 190 souls when they are all at home, it is a quiet and typical Sardinian village, at an altitude of around 300meters above sea level. Its position close to the sea but in the upper tablelands gives it a pleasant climate, especially in the evenings the temperature drop to a comfortable sleeping temperature.
The village has a number of interesting murals, but the surrounding villages are more famous for their murals. The main of three churches (dating back to the 1100's) is St Michele, with itis famous wodden carved statue of St. Gabriel and its underlying older chuch ruins.
There are many Nuragic towers and settlements in and around the village as well as a number of important natural springs that supplied the villages water needs up until recent times.
From the village it is easy to accdess the mid-western coastal region with its wilder coastline and its numerous small coves and beaches, being located abobe Bosa and mid-way between Oristano and Alghero. It also puts the village within an hour of two airports and aboyt an hour and a half from the two main ferry ports of Porto Torres and Olbia/Golfo d'Aranci.
Well positioned for visiting the north western quarter of Sardinia, with many sites of interest within an hour's drive.
The village itself is peaceful and allows you to relax and regain a human rythm of life, a good place to return to affter a day in the busier parts of the country.
