Shepherds Huts are originally designed as shelter for shepherds guarding flocks in the 19th and early 20th century. Huts were introduced so that the shepherd could live on the fields for extended periods of time in comfort to look after his flock day and night. The West Country region

Why go abroad when you can come to Cornwall?!

Dramatic coastline, miles of sandy beaches, picturesque harbours and villages, rugged countryside and a fascinating heritage – Cornwall has something to offer in every season.

A mecca for surfers, Cornwall has dozens of surfing beaches each with their own unique character. Why not try a lesson from one of our surf schools? Cornwall's most popular beaches are lifeguarded throughout the summer, and with many beaches stretching for miles with soft golden sands it's a great place for families to play and relax.

Cornwall is also a walkers' paradise, with over 2,000 miles of public footpaths, including the famous South West Coast Path, amongst other routes and trails. With nearly 1/3 of the county designated as Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty you will never be short of incredible sights in Cornwall, from natural phenomenon such as the bizarre Cheesewring on the wilds of Bodmin Moor, to the causeway at St Michael's Mount or even catching a glimpse of seals lazing on the beach at Mutton Cove!

Perranporth

Rose is a small and peaceful hamlet just a few minutes from Perranporth, with its famous 3 mile stretch of sandy beach and many shops, cafes and restaurants, making this the perfect spot if you like to get away from it all, but without being too far from the amenities of the town!
