The County Fermanagh region

Enniskillen, the Island Town, is situated between Upper and Lower Lough Erne, in the heart of the spectacular Fermanagh Lakelands. Many visitors come to fish, both pleasure fishing and match fishing at the many festivals held in the area, and to explore the area on foot. Nearby are the many trails in the Cuilcagh Mountain Park, Florencecourt Forest and Ulster Way, with something to suit everyone from families with children to the more serious walker. There are a number of National Trust properties nearby, including Florencecourt House, Castle Coole and Crom Estate. Enniskillen has its own theatre, multiscreen cinema, leisure centre, extensive shopping, restaurants and bars. A drive of under an hour will take you to the wonderful expansive sandy beaches of Donegal, which can be combined with a visit to the world famous Belleek Pottery. Golfers can choose from a number of 18 hole courses, or experience the Nick Faldo designed course at the Lough Erne Resort. Within a few minutes' drive of Derrygiff is the amazing Marble Arch Caves Geopark, a must see experience for everyone.
