Our house is situated near Autoire which is situated in the "Lot". Autoire is one of " Les plus beau villages en France". Saint-Cere

L'arrivée is situated on top of a hill and has nice views of the surrounding landscape with its meadows and wallnut trees. The wallnuts are used in all kinds of pruducts; cakes, oil, aperitives, cheese, sausages. These wallnuts are one of the products the region is famous for. Other famous products are of course the Cahors wines; dark red wines with a strong flavour, the small cheese of Rocamadour, the foie gras and of course the canard. All these products can be bought on typical markets and eaten in different kinds of restaurants.
