Acacia Farm Camp site is ideally situated for exploring the whole of Somerset its located in a small village called Rooks bridge close to the Somerset levels.Our relaxing site is ideal for a getaway from it all break but great location as only 10 mins from the M5 Motoway jcnt 22.
Our luxury 6m Yurt has been decorated with a Moroccan influence & is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay with a touch of modern comfort for our unpredictable summers.Throws covers wall hangings and scatter cushions give this a rustic style but with a 21st century touch with electric power.
The floor is wooden with Moroccan rugs and throws to decorate.
A double bed and 2 single futons are included to sleep 4 just bring bedding and towels a( double duvet is supplied)
A recently added log burner adds to the charm of this cosy dwelling one basket of logs and coal bucket are included.
Dinning table and chairs plus dressing table and chests for storage.
All your cooking equipment is supplied & crockery and cutlery, kettle pots and pans single electric ring and toaster provide indoor cooking and outside there is a camping gas stove and BBQ provided.
Sit alfresco with a glass of wine or cider on our handmade wooden benches and star gaze at the beautiful non light polluted skies around the fire pit.

We would like to advise that the Yurt does not have a secure lock on the door.
There is so much to see and do in Somerset whether you are the adventure type a townie you will find plenty to fill the day
Cycling fishing,walking,climbing,shopping relaxing eating and drinking we have plenty of pubs and cider farms around too.
Or just hang out with a book by the Yurt enjoying the fresh air and chill time with views over to Brent knoll and Cheddar Gorge.
When the evening draws in cosy chats round the campfire with a glass of cider from the local cider farm or a BBQ with local bought produce from our neighbours farm shop.
Share this experience as a romantic break or fun with a group of friends or some family time.

Somerset "The Land of the Summer People" often passed by on route to Devon and Cornwall but has so much here or all types of interests.As near the levels this is excellent cycling not too many hills,or if climbing is an option there is Cheddar Gorge down the road or the The Mendip Hills Crooks Peak can been seen from the site.A visit to Zummerset would not be complete without a glass or two of Scrumpy plenty of Cider Farms around to sample.Historic Towns are not to far we have Bristol with the Brunel Experience The SS Great Britain Suspension bridge The harbourside with its many cafes and bars or visit home of Bristol Glass take a boat trip down river or The Georgian Town of Bath where the Romans had their Spa. Wells the smallest city to have a cathedral and the oldest inhabited street in Europe near the Bishops Palace.Glastonbury next door is King Arthur land full of mystic and legends with the Abbey and Tor to visit along with numerous little interesting shops.For the bigger shopper we have Clarke's village designer land at Street another neighbour of Glastonbury.I still haven't mentioned the Cheddar Cheese and caves at Cheddar Gorge or visit King John's hunting Lodge which dates back to 13th Century.
