Tobago is a small paradise! Far away from industry and the usual hustle and bustle, you can enjoy the pure Caribbean joie de vivre.
With a rain forest, small and large waterfalls, secluded bays, beautiful beaches, mysterious caves, as well as one of the oldest nature reserves around, you will easily forget the stresses of everyday life.
Our guest house, Sealevel, is located in the small village of Castara in Tobago's green north and is only 15 metres away from the beach of the gorgeous Castara Bay. We have 8 Apartments, all equipped with a small private bathroom, a kitchenette and a terrace. For just 45 to 50 US $ per night, our 2-4 person apartments offer a cheaper alternative to the otherwise rather highly-priced accommodation on Tobago.
Come and discover this small paradise.
Location: The guest house, Sealevel, is located on the edge of the rainforest and is only 15 metres away from the beach. It is situated on a small hill, surrounded by mango, banana, coconut and other fruit trees.
The upper apartments offer a great sea view. For an otherwise tropical climate, Castara, due to its proximity to the rain forest, usually has very pleasant weather, cooled by a gentle breeze.

Our guest house, Sealevel, is situated in Castara, in the green north of Tobago, on the beautiful Bay of Castara.
Castara is a small, dreamy fishing village, where you can really relax. Here the stress of everyday life vanishes in no time! A magnificent coral reef on the 'Little Bay' allows even the most inexperienced snorkelers to explore the beautiful and colourful underwater world. Families with children will find a flat sandy beach ideal for the kids to splash and play around undisturbed.
The large bay is patrolled by lifeguards every day, so older kids can also enjoy the water safely.
At a nearby idyllic waterfall, you can enjoy a swim or just recharge your batteries in a superb atmosphere.
The 600 or so residents of Castara make their living from fishing and tourism. The village has several shops and restaurants where you can sample the outstanding local produce. After the meal, you might feel tempted to try the legendary rum punch at a Steel Drum Evening.
Once a year in August, a big beach festival takes place with cheerful music and a barbecue.
The North Side Road connects Castara with the island's capital, Scarborough, situated at the south-west end of the island, with the quaint towns of Parlatuvier and L'Anse Fourmi also located along the coast. The nearest bays to the east are Little Englishman's Bay, Englishman's Bay and Bloody Bay.
Buses run regularly on the North Side Road.
