A trip to the famous monastery is a must. The Akamus is a conservation area where at certain times the sea turtles come and lay their eggs at Lara Beach. Not far from Coral Bay is the tiny fishing harbour of Agios Georgios where you will see facinating sea caves. The fish tavernas here are particularly popular.Aphrodites Rock and Pissouri are worth visiting. Mini cruises to Egypt and the Pyramids are available with ships leaving from Limassol.

Vrisi Village 2

There are restaurants and tavernas to suit all pockets and tastes. Indian, Chinese, Greek, Italian etc....

We particularly like The Mill and Le Grande in Peyia. Neo's Sport Club is favoured by ex-pats and has a lot to offer including wonderful steaks cooked at your table, invariably by the owner, Stavros. There is a lovely rooftop area where you can survey the panoramic views to Paphos with all the twinkling lights at night - beautiful. There is caberet, pool, bowling available also.

A visit to Oniro taverna is a must - a little hard to find, go down to the main road and cross it and go down to the coast road -go towards St George and the Sea Caves and you will see a sign - the location is fabulous - right on the cliffs that are floodlit at night and you can enjoy wonderful sunsets from the beautiful lawned area.

Also if you want a barbeque with a difference with amazing views over the Gorge and Lara Bay where the turtles are, visit The Viklari (Last Castle) on the Akamas.
