Oak Apple Barn is a picturesque and cosy 2 bedroom holiday retreat. It is part of a former traditional Lakeland farm, and is situated along a very quiet country lane between the pretty village of Hawkshead and Tarn Hows. It is within easy walking distance of the village, only about half a mile away. The 17 century barn has been renovated to a very high standard, retaining traditional features particularly the mellow pine and oak beams. The comfortable lounge has an old stone fireplace with wood burning stove, comfortable furniture to relax in after a long walk, TV, DVD, CD, wifi internet (free).
