Central to all wonderful things in North Wales: mountains, rivers, lakes, historical places. Interesting towns and villages e.g. Betws y Coed, Llangollen, Ruthin and Corwen. There is so much to see and do on our doorstep.
There is a beautiful walk that passes the celtic cross at the old Church in Derwen, the Holy well - Ffynnon Sarah, and the old hill fort of Melin y Wig.
The beaches of North West Wales are less than an hours drive, which takes you through the magical mountains of Snowdonia, where adventures can be had e.g. Tree Tops adventure, Zip Wire ride at Bethesda, Zorbing at Bala, Whitewater rafting down the River Dee at Llangollen, numerous Steam Engine rides across North Wales and so much more.
Ruthin has a marvellous Craft and Art Centre, with the R Cafe next door that offers good wholesome food. The Mostyn Gallery at Llandudno, an hour away has exhibitions of many famous artists, I would recommend stopping at Conwy Falls Cafe for brunch and Ffin Y Parc Gallery for coffee and cake.
Llangollen hosts the annual International Musical Festival. This year Eisteddfod yr Urdd is at Bala, and is on for 6 days.
North Wales has so much to offer its visitors, an exciting holiday awaits you.
