Om Shanti is a barn conversion that oozes charm and character, put together by an artist's eye. It has a super open plan living area with great kitchen and big dining table. Enjoy time with your loved ones relax on large comfy sofas, near to the wood burning stove. Please note logs are not included and there is no television! One of the sofas pulls out to become a double bed and one double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with long bath! The other bedroom is larger and is a great family room with queen sized futon bed and two single day beds. There is a shower room off the living space.

A patio can be accessed from family bedroom and decking for alfresco dining just outside the kitchen. The garden has a 'heligan like' feel and is very green and lush with massive granite boulders. Garden is enclosed and dogs are welcome although charge for each dog.

The West Country region

Cornwall has the most spectacular scenery and the rugged coastline, wildflowers in the cornish hedges and sea, today I spotted a seal. Surfing and sailing are popular so is kite surfing and kite skating never tried before then why not book some lessons.

Peaceful Creative Haven is ideally placed to explore much of west Cornwall and it never ceases to amaze me how different the coastline can be check out The Lizard, south and north coasts the 3 mile stretch of sandy beach at Gwithian to Hayle - Porthkidney the other side of the estuary is lovely, walk to St Ives along the coast path and have a cream tea or I prefer mine with coffee in the Tate Art Gallery's cafe (free entry to cafe) on the top floor of this converted gas works, it has wonderful views out to sea and over the lichen covered tiled roofs of the fishermens cottages. Also check out Barbara Hepworths garden and studio. Catch the train back to St Erth it's a short ride but runs along the coast (park and ride car park here).

Helston

This is the perfect place to explore west Cornwall as you can easily access both North and South coasts, many beaches and the South-west coastal path. The Lizard peninsula, ST Ives, Penzance, Falmouth all are about 10 mile drive.
