Sarah and Nic would like to welcome you to Peyre St Front; with beautiful polished oak floors and a winding staircase linking the three floors, this professionally designed and restored gite is part of a typical old French house. Tall shuttered windows frame the picturesque views from the first floor sitting room and from the bedrooms.

A splendid covered outdoor dining room and fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher plus permanent BBQ overlooking private pool and terraces to meadows and river views beyond. The 10x5 pool is fenced with saline system, a healthier alternative to chemicals.

Activities in nearby village of Corgnac sur L'Isle include the Velorail. canoeing, tennis, fishing. Cycle the stunning Voie Verte from Thiviers to St Pardoux la Riviere – a traffic-free by-way, passing the beautiful and historic village of St Jean de Cole which is listed as one of France's 'most beautiful villages'. LASCAUX the most cave paintings in france are nearby and BRANTOME, the 'Venice of the Perigord" is just 25 minutes away. Visit the friday market, go canoeing, followed by a leisurely lunch at one of the many riverside restaurants.

There are many local markets - one for every day of the week! In addition many of the local villages have regular Vide Greniers (French car boot sales) Great fun to visit.

Bastille day on 14th July is celebrated with fireworks, dancing and music in the village.
