Predeal is a mountain resort town in Brasov County, Romania. Predeal is the highest located town in Romania, in the Prahova Valley at an elevation of over 1,000 m (3,281 ft).
The location gives easy access to hiking trails in the Carpathian Mountains, bycicle and motorcycle courses, to the turistic attractions in Brasov, Bran and the Prahova Valley.
Predeal is also a well appointed ski resort, host to the 2013 Winter Olimpic Goodwill Games, with ski slopes for various styles and nocturne facilities, the base of the slopes is reachable on foot in 5 minutes.
Our propriety is easily accessible by car, train or other public transportation. Although the public transport system works very well, a private car is advisable to visit the beautiful Carpathian surroundings with their old picturesque villages and medieval towns.
