The Balearic Islands region

North west of Mallorca, near the tip of Formentor, with the larger bay of Alcudia the other side. The very large bay is safe with sandy beaches and plenty of restaurants along the front. Ideally placed for short excursions to many interesting places, although there is enough to do in the local area for families wanting a relaxing break.

Puerto Pollensa

There is a nature reserve close by and the Boquer Valley to the rear of us where many bird watchers go, but we just enjoy the walk and views. Pine Walk is just a short walk away, less than 200 metres, and the main square with numerous restaurants and shops is not much further. A car isn't necessary, but for the more adventurous there are so many attractions; we still haven't seen them all, although we have been coming here over ten years.

We recommend a sail in the bay on a traditional sailing boat, Tudor Dawn. Look on Trip Advisor to see what others say.

As we have only just joined we don't have any news posted on Trip Advisor, but everyone who has been loves the apartment which we have fitted out and maintained to a high standard, it being our second home where we spend a lot of time. The private roof terrace is an added attraction, with sun loungers, awning and built in BBQ.
