Camogli is a quaint fishing village, part of the Paradise Gulf on the Italian Riviera just 30 minutes from Genova. The little port is where you can see the small fishing boats and fishermen repairing their nets.

Wednesday's open market is the place you can get beautiful vegetables, clothes or any other item you need.

The houses along the sea are different shades of pastel colors.

The second Sunday of May is the traditional fish fry, La Sagra del Pesce, where you can get in line and enjoy your fresh fried fish in one of the world's largest frying pans. The night before you can enjoy the religious procession and extraordinary fireworks followed by the bon fire.

Camogli is waiting for you.

Rapallo

The climate is perfect with hot summer months when you need a jump in the sea. Fall and Spring you'll probably need a light jacket and in the winter, a winter coat.

There are several walking trails starting from Camogli. You can end up at the church high on the hill of San Rocco, or San Fruttuoso and even Portofino. From San Fruttuoso you can return the same way or hop on the boat and arrive at the Camogli Port. From Portofino you can hop on the boat or a bus.

The staff at the Pro Loco in Camogli are very helpful and have maps and brochures of events in Camogli and not only.

There are several beaches in Camogli and wonderful restaurants.
