This is an original and beautifully restored Shepherds Hut as used on a Derbyshire Sheep farm. Rustic in appearance it nevertheless ihas all the features and qualities needed for a wonderful holiday. Outside the ancient faded timbers blend in against the wooded stream. Sit on the steps in the sun and relax while breathing in the country air.

Inside the cabin has been carefully designed and is fully self contained. Everything has been carefully sourced and contributes to creating an atmoshere of authenticity. A Pot Bellied stove warms you, converted brass lamps give subdued lighting. Wide plank flooring and waxed wooden walls welcome you to enjoy your stay. There are even views of the woods and hills from the double bed.

The Shepherds Hut is situated on on a working Derbyshire Smallholiding.The countryside is on your doorstep. Put on your boots and walk for miles on paths and trails.

Locally Wirksworth has some lovely little traditional shops. There is even a local micro brewery plus three of the best pubs in Derbyshire if not the whole of the country?

You must visit them all; You could even cycle, walk or catch a bus.
