This is a totally renewed apartment (in the year 2013) for 4-5 persons.

It is in a quiet neighbourhood. Just over the street you have market with fresh fruits and vegetables, fish, meat, groceries, bakeries, exchange office, mini market that works 24/7, bank, post office. It also has several parks and caffes nearby which is also nice.

Two minutes walk to the bus - 3 stops to the main railway station - and tram station - 8 stops to the main square in the city centre - 15 minutes drive. There is also a taxi station - to main center 10 minutes drive and it is even cheaper than the tram for three persons - 6-7 $ per ride to the town.

In front and back of the building there is parking for 5 $ a day. Some of the places are for free.

It is also close to the river Sava, perfect place for a long walk or jogging with a wonderful view to all parts of the Zagreb.

So the position is very handy for a nice rest after exploring Zagreb with your family or friends.

The building has two entrances, the apartment is at the ground floor, no stairs so it is also conveniant for disabled persons or elder visitors.

The apartment has two bedrooms, dining - living room, kitchen, bathroom, corridor. Everything is renewed - floors, walls, windows, kitchen, bathroom. The beds are new with high mattreses - very comfort to provide good rest. Each bedroom has a desk were you can read, use WI-FI or wired connection, write, study. There is also cabel TV with over 40 channels.

The Zagreb Region

Zagreb is the capital of Croatia. It is the administrative and business center, but there are many cultural events going on throughout the year. The center has many caffees, restaurants, galeries, small shops, so the atmosphere is pleasant and friendly.

Most of the inhabitants speak English and other foreign languages and it is easy to communicate.

We have a continental climate. Winters with snow and rain, and in spring and summer even some very hot days over 30 degrees Celsius.

On the north there is a mountain Medvednica - weekend trip for families - and on the south we have river Sava with parks and small lake Bundek which are great places for long walks and jogging with perfect view on all sides.

We are well connected to Slovenia, Adriatic coast which is also well known Croatian pearl - 2-3 hours drive.

Plitvice lakes are only 1 hour drive - so you can go there for one day.

The old part is in the middle, and on the south, west and east we have new parts of the city.

Zagreb

The apartment is in Savica - the part of town called Trnje. It is part of the town with new buildings - mainly private apartments.

It is well connected with other parts - tram, bus, taxi. By car you need 15 minutes to reach the main center of the town - the Jelacic square, Zrinjevac, Cathedral, Upper town, galeries, museums, theaters, cinemas etc..

Savica is by the river Sava so there are several parks which is convenient for families with children and pets.

Near the river you can find nice tennis courts in the park.

This part is well-connected to the other parts of the town, but still very peaceful as there is no industry and business area.

You have all you need in the neighbourhood - small shops, open market with fresh fruit, vegetables, fish, meat, even our specialty - fresh cheese very good for all of you on a diet, post office, exchange office, bank, farmacy, small caffees, parks, bus and tram stations.
