Situated in a hidden courtyard amongst the 1180ad ruins of the first Norman House, the old stone-gate gallery is in the perfect location, next to the minster. Its a quiet detached medieval building and the most central in York.

The 2 floor apartment boosts an antique 4 poster bed, roll top bath overlooking the minster, kitchen, living and dining area and a comfy double sofa bed. The rooms can sleep 4 people and a cot is available. The chamber dates back over 650 years and contains full sky hd tv, games, playstation 3, dvd/cd system, dab radio/ipod dock, cooker, iron, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, computer, free wifi/broadband, dvd/book collection, washing machine and much more.

Please note there is a ghost and he has been seen many times, he is friendly - try our ouija board.
