Welcome to Bwthyn Haf, a beautiful, Grade 2 listed, traditional Fisherman's Cottage within the walls of the medieval town of Conwy. We are fully re-furbished, accommodating up to 4 adults and a baby, with 4 star Visit Wales quality grading. The price includes bedding, towels, gas, electricity and wi-fi – there are no hidden extras. We also provide a selection of locally produced groceries and toiletries to settle you in.

Downstairs we have a sitting and dining room and fully equipped kitchen. The kitchen leads to a courtyard garden, ideal for relaxing with a morning coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Upstairs your will find a double bedroom, a twin bedroom with bunkbeds, and a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

And as we're set within the walls of a World Heritage Site, you can stroll to the harbour, visit a castle, eat traditional fish and chips, sample locally brewed ale or dine at a Michelin recommended restaurant without getting into your car. If you feel energetic, you could also walk around the Great Orme, or onto Conwy mountain where you'll see the wild Carneddau ponies.

There is on-road parking outside the cottage, but as you might not want to go more than a few minutes walk from the cottage throughout your stay, you could come by train ..... Llandudno Junction has trains direct from London, Manchester and Cardiff, and it's only a short taxi drive away.

The North Wales region

Wales is one of the countries that make up the United Kingdom. And it's lush!

It has one of the oldest languages in the world, some of the most beautiful scenery, and is famous for its musicians and poets ..... also for it's more popular musicians (Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey and Manic Street Preachers), it's actors (Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta Jones and Rhys Ifans) and it's very hairy rugby players.

It's not famous for giving people a sun tan, but you wouldn't have time to get one anyway.

Conwy

Conwy is on the North Wales coast, between the mountains and the sea. It is a traditional fishing town, and you can watch the boats landing the daily catch of Conwy mussels down on the harbour, buy some yourself, or have them served to you at one of the many excellent restaurants, bistros or cafes. Conwy is a World Heritage Site, one of the best examples of a Normal walled town in all of Europe, with a castle and many other sites of historical interest. It's on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, so ideal for walking, climbing, mountain biking or other outdoor sports.

And it's on the train network, so perfect for train lovers .... catch a train up the Conwy Valley to Blaenau Ffestiniog and then get the steam trail to Porth Madoc and through the mountains to Caernarfon
