Railway Cottage has been sympathetically converted from the old railway ticket office into a stylish holiday cottage. We have modernised the building whilst keeping many of the original features.
The cottage sleeps up to 4 people and has full gas central heating. It has two bedrooms, a double and a twin and a bed-settee in the lounge. There is a shower room with toilet upstairs and a wet room with toilet downstairs. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge freezer, electric oven with gas hob, microwave and toaster. Washing and drying facilities are also available on site. The dining room is spacious with original floorboards and the sitting room is cosy with TV/DVD and coal effect electric fire. Bed linen and towels are provided as well as complimentary beverages on arrival.
The village of New Radnor is a short walk away and here you will find a village shop, pub and a children's playground. There are many good eating houses locally or why not try out our own Tea Room.
Railway Cottage is situated in its own garden on the Old Station Caravan Park. There are superb views from the cottage and the many attractions of Mid-Wales are easily accessible from here. If you are planning a walking break or simply want to get away to relax this is an ideal place to stay.
Local attractions include Water-Break-Its-Neck, Elan Valley Dams and the Red Kite Feeding Centre to name but a few.
