There is so much to do in Ilfracombe, whatever the weather! Located just a 15 minute stroll from the bustling harbour, shops and restaurants you can walk to many attractions. The Tunnels Beaches, hand carved in the 1820s are steeped in Victorian history. Take a walk along the coastal footpaths and admire the rugged scenery, or watch the kids play safely in the tidal pool and explore fantastic rock pools. Be sure to visit the impressive bronze 'Verity' sculpture, which stands 20 metres tall, created by the world famous artist Damien Hirst who also has a lovely cafe and restaurant on the harbour front.
Enter through the front door into a lobby and beautifully tiled hallway. The expansive lounge is located on the ground floor with a large bay window flooding the room with sunlight. Comfortable designer sofas, silver oak wood laminate flooring and neutral walls complete the look of this lovely room. A gas fireplace is ideal for chilly evenings and central heating ensures year-round warmth.
Kids will be kept occupied for hours in the games room with the excellent home entertainment features on offer. These include a pool table, flatscreen TV, surround sound with CD/DVD player, Playstation & games, XBox console & games, Wii console & games, DVD selection, books and board games. There is a double futon in here that provides informal sleeping for 2 extra people (bedding supplied on request).
Off the kitchen is another living area. This is a lovely bright sunny room which flows into the garden through floor to ceiling glass. A dining table seats 4, perfect for an informal breakfast before heading out for the day. A separate more formal dining room seats 8 people with a solid wood table and soft high back chairs. This room has an attractive feature fireplace and access to outside. A high chair is provided.
A newly fitted kitchen contains all you could need to make your self-catering stay as relaxing as possible. Cool grey tiles and neutral tones create an elegant yet practical modern kitchen, with exposed original features. Appliances include a fridge/freezer, separate fridge, separate freezer, oven, electric hob, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, blender, toaster, kettle as well as all the mod-cons and essential kitchen utensils including children's crockery.

CYCLE TO - Ilfracombe and its surrounding areas on the Tarka Trail - National Cycle Network, Devon Coast Route 27. This is a wonderfully scenic circular route on the North Devon coast with a link that allows a start and finish in Ilfracombe and takes in two superb traffic free sections, the National Trust coast route and the former railway path from Ilfracombe to Willingcott Cross. The remainder is along attractive minor roads through quiet villages and rolling Devon farmland. Boat trips run regularly from Ilfracombe harbour and include wildlife cruises around the bay and trips to Lundy Island. Visit Ilfracombe Aquarium, the unique Tunnels Beaches, fascinating Ilfracombe Museum, Larkstone Leisure Park, Hele Cornmill and Chambercombe Manor, one of Britain's most haunted houses.

This home away from home is perfectly located just minutes from the centre of the historic harbour town of Ilfracombe with its theatre, galleries, restaurants as well as the busy harbour with its boat trips and ferries to Lundy Island. A number of beaches are within easy reach including, Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton, Putsborough,Instow, and Westward Ho!. The Big Sheep and The Milky Way are great days out for the kids. Lynton and Lynmouth are also well worth a visit, within the Exmoor National Park.
