Legend has it that King Arthur was buried in the Abbey and there is certainly something mysterious about the place and a climb up the Tor, which you can see from the estate, will not be forgotten. In the neighbouring village of Pilton other legends perform to a vast and appreciative crowd and the Glastonbury Festival has worldwide fame.Wookey Hole Caves and Longleat are both within easy reach and famous centres for all the family to enjoy. Bath is less than an hours drive. In Bruton we have the Hauser and Wirth Gallery with The Roth Bar and Grill and At The Chapel restaurant.
