Trussel Barn is a converted Cornish stone barn set in 7 acres in a very quiet rural area of outstanding natural beauty. There are 2 spacious en-suite guest bedrooms and 2 smaller rooms that can be booked in conjunction with the larger rooms. The B&B can sleep a total of 7 guests plus cot(s) for small children. There is a large garden, spacious sun terrace, field and wild life area with a pond.
The Cyder Room has a king size bed, en-suite bathroom with bath and separate walk in shower. The bedroom is well equipped with fridge, kettle, tea/coffee making facilities as well as a TV/DVD and a hairdryer. The other large room is called The Garden Room which is similarly appointed see Holiday Lettings property 428529.
There are 2 smaller rooms, the Apple Store (twin) and The Apple Press (single), which can only be booked in conjunction with one of the larger rooms as they have to share a bathroom. The smaller rooms are suitable for children or members of the same party.
Guests enjoy a choice of breakfasts, from a traditional cooked breakfast with Old Cornish sausages, local dry cured bacon and free range eggs, to smoked salmon, home made bread and preserves and Cornish Orchards apple juice. Breakfast is taken at the large oak table in the spacious farm house kitchen or on the terrace. Guest can also enjoy the sitting room with the wood burning stove in the stone fireplace.
Relax and enjoy the gardens and sun terrace which overlook the East Looe Valley or explore the river, wild life area and pond. What could be nicer than enjoying a glass of Cornish Orchards cider and a BBQ on the sun terrace after a day out exploring Cornwall.
Trussel Barn is very close to the major trunk roads with easy access to all the attractions of Cornwall. Close to Liskeard, Looe and Polperro there are plenty of beaches to explore and a good choice of restaurants. Within easy access of the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and many more beautiful gardens. Drive a little further to enjoy Padstow, Rock and the delights of the north Cornish coast. Discover the charms of Fowey or enjoy a pint of Proper Job at the St Austell Brewery; there are plenty of interesting places to visit close by.
