The Conwy County region

We are at the north western edge of Snowdonia just above the seaside at Llanfairfechan. The location is a perfect centre for North Wales and Snowdonia attractions - we are just 2 miles from the A55, so most of Anglesey is within 30 minutes drive, as are Bodnant Garden, Penrhyn Castle, Conwy and Caernarfon. Llanberis is just 20 minutes drive for Snowdon Railway. You can walk directly from the cottage onto the Carneddau, known for their wild mountain ponies. The mountains of Snowdonia are a walkers and climbers paradise, with Ogwen Cottage on the A5, base for the Glyders, Cwm Idwal A5 just 20 minutes distant.

We have the best of both worlds, the seaside at Llanfairfechan with the Carneddau mountains at our back. Our views our spectacular, and we offer peace and tranquillity - a country hideaway. You can walk or bike straight out onto the mountains from here, or just sit on the verandah and watch the ever changing sea, and observe the many birds, from choughs, kestrels and buzzards to woodpeckers. There are bird reserves at Llanfairfechan, Aber Ogwen, Conwy. The walk to the spectacular Aber Falls is a must, and the start is only 3 miles away.
