The apartment block has a swimming pool on the roof with a spacious and secluded sun deck. The view from the sundeck of the bay beneath and the cliffs surrounding the property make a spectacular setting.
The local area: Puerto de la Cruz is on the north side of Tenerife. Whilst it is is warm and sunny for the vast majority of the year it does not have the unrelenting sunshine of the south of the Island. Thus the vegetation is generally more verdant and prolific than the south. There are many lovely walks along the seafront and harbour and through the town with its lanes and hidden squares. Puerto has a host of restaurants of all qualities and it is always possible to visit the local's restaurants ( Guachinches ) which are run by the owners and often make their own wine - the quality of food being excellent and very reasonably priced. Try ' La Finca' in La Victoria or ' El Tinglado' in Sante Ursula - both excellent.
If you decide not to rent a car then the most excellent bus service is cheap, punctual and frequent and you can visit the local towns Garachico and Oratarva especially recommended. Buy a Bono card and get the fares for 2/3 rds of the price.

A quieter part of the Island, not having the full-on intensity of the South. A place for familys and those who want quality restaurants and superb walks with lovely local towns to visit. Oratava is especially recommended, a historic town of the Island with many of the original and beautiful houses carefully preserved.
The apartment is located very close to the town center but in a very quiet location. A high quality supermarket ( The Martianez) is approximately 5 minutes walk from the apartment. A seafront promanade provides a scenic walk into the centre of the town. There are many high quality restaurants and local walks to take advantage of.
