The North Wales region

Rhoscolyn is situated on the western coast of the beautiful unspoilt Isle of Anglesey, close to the village of Trearddur Bay With its sparkling clear waters, rocky coves and safe sandy beaches, it is the ideal spot for a fun filled family holiday or a relaxing break. Sailing, surfing, kayaking, fishing, diving, walking , cycling, golf and motor sports are just some of the activities on offer in the area.

If you can tear yourself away from the property, Rhoscolyn is well located to explore the rest of the island, there is plenty to explore; each coast line has a unique character and different landscape. On the island we have a super art gallery and museum at Oriel Mon; the perfect place to find out about the fascinating history of the island going back to bronze age and roman times. For children there are plenty of attractions including Pili Palas butterfly farm, the Foel Farm and Chocolate factory on the South coast. The particular favourite is the eco friendly fun park Greenwood Forest Park over in Snowdonia.

Views over to Snowdonia and Lleyn penninsula dominate here and no visit to the island would be complete without a visit to our majestic neighbours!

Rhoscolyn

Rhoscolyn covers an area of heathland and cliffs on the western coast of Anglesey and is mostly scattered farmhouses. There is a quiet beach at Rhoscolyn which would be around a 30 minute walk from the property, although there are also little coves off the coastal path much. The very popular White Eagle pub is in Rhoscolyn and would be about a 20 minute walk from the house and is lovely for either a chilled lunch on the terrace or an evening meal.

The nearby village of Trearddur Bay offers a few more amenities should you want them, a general store, cafe, a couple of pubs and the very popular main beach with boat launch facilities.
