The Provence Alpes Cote d'Azur region

This is where the jetset comes to go to either Monaco, Cannes, Saint Tropez, Antibes, Saint Paul or Nice. It was the favourite destination for many famous painters such as Matisse, Picasso, Chagall, Légers and others.

This is where Sean Connery drove down a winding road in an early 60s Bond movie. There are so many things to visit around here that once you have visited once you are immediately eager to plan your next return. Grasse and the perfumeries are here, as is the glass factory in Biot.

Tourrettes sur Loup

Tourrettes-sur-Loup is a quaint photogenic little village perched above a cliff, just like so many other villages in the area. It is the village of violets and the local festival takes place in late February every year. The local shops offer many variations of handicrafts.
