Welcome to "Podere Le Baruti", where you will find zest for life, italianità, culinary well-being, noble vines, nice moments on the horse back, dolce-far-niente at the swimmingpool, a bright starry sky and much more in unforgettable holidays for the whole family. Ars vivendi!
The house was completely restructured during 2008 under consideration of biological principles in traditional Tuscan style with terracotta floors and wooden beams as well as equipped with today's amenities. All of our apartments are equipped with complete kitchens with dishwasher and modern, elegant bathrooms with shower, hairdryer etc. Our swimming pool (7 x 14 m, max. depth 1.50 m) with water cascade and panoramic view over the Arno valley and Montegonzi, our neighbour village invites you to relax, dream or read a book you wanted to read a long time before. Horse lovers can book a panoramic horse trail or a lesson in our outdoor arena on one of our reliable horses, raised and trained by ourselves. If you'd rather prefer the "steel horse" you can rent a bike for exploring the surrounding.
The position of our house is just marvellous inmidst of gentle hills planted with olive trees and about 15 min. walk outside of the picturesque village Moncioni, where you can buy in the "Bottega of Moncioni" all you need and live "italianità" by having a snack or just drinking a coffe or a glass of wine and the triangle of Florence (to reach by train within half an hour) - Sienna - Arezzo. Visit Tuscany's Renaissance cities with its historical monuments, museums etc.; shopping "victims" will find many outlets with famous italian brands, i.e. Prada, Gucci, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Cavalli and many more. After all that sports, sightseeing etc. get spoiled by an authentic Tuscan candle light dinner under the sky served with a Chianti wine.

Tuscany is one of the most favourite region from Italy, not only because of the kitchen and the famous "bisteccha fiornetina", and it offers many things to do as well as to visit. And therefore, you have the choice from the coast till the mountains, from the cities till the quiet landscape.
We offer you "italianità" on a silver tray:
The world famous cities, like Florence, with its art, museums, churches, gardens and theatres Siena, with the place "Il campo? shaped like a shell with scalloped edges, where twice a year the most crazy horse race takes place Arezzo where is the held monthly the biggest market of antiques in Europe, and Pisa that offers more than the leaning tower. If you cannot resist to Rome, you can reach the city within a daily trip by train or car.
Visit in spring the "Crete Senesi" with their green countryside and gentle hills; San Gimignano with its 15 medieval family towers; Montalcino and Montepulciano, the two wine cities; Pienza, where the well-known Pecorino cheese is from as well as was the native city from pope Pius II; the salt-stone and alabaster town Volterra; the "Chianti Classico? wine-growing area and the picturesque villages Radda, Gaiole in Chianti and San Gusmè with its medieval monuments and the almost enterly preserved city walls or enjoy simply "dolce vita" on a Piazza by a "gelato", "caffè" or "prosecco". Also enjoy "pranzo" (lunch) in a Trattoria (restaurant) by a typical "bistecca fiorentina" (beef steak Florentine) with a tasty glass of wine.
Indulge yourself and spend a day in one of the numerous, ancient Roman hot springs: Rapolano Terme, where can be booked massages and treatments ,too; Bagno Vigoni, Chianciano Terme (all of them in the province of Siena) and the hot springs of Saturnia near Grosseto in Southern Tuscany.
Travel on - sportsmen also ride by bike - the "strade del vino" (wine routes) with the well-known vineyards and castles, i.e. "Castello di Brolio? or "Spaltenna? in the Chianti area and the "Colli Aretini? and its vicinity.
In Montevarchi, Levane and Florence lovers of the "alta moda italiana", like Prada, Gucci etc. come on their cost.
Another suggestion: a trip along the Etruscan coast with the pretty villages like Punta Ala, Castiglione della Pescaia, St. Stefano, Follonica und Grosseto.
Our area is just perfect for relaxing, sports, wine and olive oil tasting, cultural highlites and much more. Montevarchi is the gateway to the Chianti wine region as weel you get from the train statio within half an hour to Florence.
