LOUTH is officially Britain's favourite market town!
The town topped a poll among thousands of readers of BBC Countryfile magazine, and the win has been described as 'national recognition of how special Louth is'. The magazine launched the contest in April 2012, and after being shortlisted it was up to the public to have their say.And Louth saw off stiff competition from the likes of Ludlow, Stamford and Richmond to earn the title.
We have two great golf courses close by; Kenwick Park and Louth Golf Club.
